The South African culture, commonly known today as the “Rainbow nation”. Its unique cultural mix stems form the British, Dutch, French, and Malaysian influence. In an attempt to portray a true picture of this culture I will break this down further. Situated at the tip of Africa, known as the Cape of Good Hope you will find our unique population group known as the “Cape Coloureds”. This was our population segment name imposed during the apartheid years and refers to our mixed heritage.
